This insightful book places Iranian nuclear aspirations in their historical and strategic context by masterfully drawing on U.S. and Iranian primary sources, including declassified U.S. policy memoranda and diplomatic cables, and the political memoirs, diplomatic correspondence, and oral histories of Iranian officials. Dr. Azodi’s research also included his interviews with U.S. and Iranian officials involved with the nuclear negotiations as well as with Iranian scientists.
